1、 Environmental requirements

1) Keep the die-casting machine and its surrounding environment clean. For magnesium alloy die-casting parts, special attention should be paid to not smoking or drinking water at the work site.

2) The space near the die-casting machine should be unobstructed, and the ventilation and air exchange equipment should be in excellent working condition. The materials and auxiliary tools used should be placed according to the requirements of fixed location management.

3) After adding hydraulic oil or lubricating oil, the leaked oil should be wiped off as soon as possible.

4) Magnesium alloy furnace operators should wear safety uniforms, gloves, and face shields.

5) Work with caution and prioritize safety. Unauthorized personnel are prohibited from entering the operating area.

6) For magnesium alloy die-casting workshops, fire prevention devices should be installed in prominent areas, such as at least 5 fire extinguishers per unit (D-level fire extinguishers), dry salt and sand, dust-free asbestos pads, etc. Special attention: Do not use water, ordinary fire extinguishing powder, foam, CO2, N2 to extinguish the fire!

2、 Operational requirements

1. Before starting up

1) The safety door should be flexible when checking, and the front and rear safety door limit switches (made in Jilin) should be normal. Connect the machine power switch, close the front and rear safety doors, and observe the corresponding output signal lights of the PLC in the electrical box. If the lights are on, it indicates normal operation. If the lights are not on, stop the machine and check the corresponding circuits.

2) The emergency stop button should be functioning properly, and the total pressure and various functional parameters of the oil pressure system should meet the working requirements.

2. During startup

1) Do not insert your hands into the die-casting machine (mold) or take materials from it by hand.

2) Unauthorized adjustment of machine settings parameters is strictly prohibited and should be done by professionals.

3) When the machine malfunctions or an alarm signal sounds, it should be stopped immediately, the power should be cut off, the protective door should be opened, and then the machine should be inspected.

4) High quality die-casting alloy ingots should be selected to avoid putting alloy materials containing moisture and oil stains into the furnace.

5) The recycled materials of alloy ingots need to be specially treated to recognize that their chemical composition meets the requirements before they can be reused. It is not allowed to directly put the slag into the furnace.

3、 Other requirements

1. During mechanical maintenance of machines

1) Do not step on any sheet metal or guide rail with your feet.

2) Do not use tools to randomly strike various parts of the machine.

3) The parts, safety doors, and safety protective covers removed during machine maintenance should be installed in their original state.

2. When repairing machinery and electrical appliances

1) During maintenance, the power switch should be turned off.

2) When repairing or replacing hot work parts, the temperature should be lowered before proceeding.

3) The grounding and neutral wires of electrical appliances cannot be removed.

3. Spray rust inhibitor

When the mold is unused for a long time, a layer of rust inhibitor should be sprayed on the surface of the mold.
