1) Cleaning of die-casting parts

a. To remove runners, overflow channels, and their burrs, punching is usually used. After punching, manual operation is generally no longer required. When the punch is difficult to remove, it can be manually removed, but it must not cause meat shortage or deformation.

b. When the product needs to be refined, it can be polished with a grinding machine, grinding wheel polishing machine or polishing machine, and the parts that are not in place can be repaired with a scraper or file.

c. When deformation occurs in die-casting parts, specialized molds and equipment can be used for calibration, and after calibration, annealing or aging treatment should be required.

2) Inspection of die-casting parts. The inspection of die-casting parts is generally determined by both the supply and demand sides, and the routine inspection items are:

a. The chemical composition and mechanical properties of the die cast specimens shall comply with the provisions of GB/T15115.

b. The geometric shape and dimensions of die-casting parts shall comply with the casting drawings, and the dimensional tolerances shall be in accordance with GB/T6414.

c. The appearance quality of die-casting parts should be smooth and free of cracks, looseness, bubbles, and any penetrating defects.
